fishy fishy fishy

things have been kinda hectic teaching a class and trying to get my stuff together to actually write a thesis. i also just got back from the Western Society of Naturalists conference. I didn't give a talk, which I kinda regret, but I also managed to not get overserved and buy everything at the auction so I think I kinda evened out.

I did, however, get to hang out and stay with a really good friend and her girlfriend. That was a blast and we joked about how I was just going to fly home, pack my stuff and head right back. because if you're going to quit your phd program, your SIXTH year is the year to do it...lol
