this blog started out as a journal of my research trip to loreto, baja california but has evolved somewhat to include my time back home and the stuff i do when i'm not in the field
i study Mycteroperca rosacea, the leopard grouper, in baja california. i've been working on my current project since 2001. I hope this blog is at least entertaining, if not informative.
all of the pics you're going to see are MINE ALONE! so keep your dirty fingers off.

so as much as i try i can't seem to stop taking pictures of feeeeeesh and try to take pictures of loreto or town. i always think i should photograph the area as well. and then i spend so much time on pictures of feeeeesh and then my computer is "challenged" so it just never happens.

I moved 3,000 miles away from my friends and feel like I've lost my cooking mojo not having people to cook for. Mara said I should start a food blog and after I detailed how it really is hard to get up the desire to just cook for myself and then take pictures, she 'fessed up and said, so when I suggested you should blog about your food to help you, what I really should have said was blog your food for US - so we can see it and enjoy it from afar and try to replicate it. So here it is.
