so much...!!!

we went to the island on may 12 and stayed until may 15. it was probably the smoothest island trip i've taken and i owe it to adam and tony's hard work. thanks guys!

the viz was too bad to do any filming of leopard grouper spawning but we saw tons of other cool stuff and the water was amazingly calm for this time of year. i definitely have pictures of the most awesome birthday morning dive!

of course i have OTHER pictures. of course i know i have to post them...

tony left may 16th the same day Catherine arrived. she has been dubbed Caterina by the neighbor kids. caterina doesn´t speak much spanish, but like they were with gordon, that doesn´t stop them from speaking rapid-fire spanish to her. nor writing her little notes, nor wanting to play games with her.

in other news i chopped my hair off. ALL off. IT'S AWESOME. well tony cut it off. we chopped the ponytail and then he took his buzzers and shaved/tapered the back. so now i look like robert downey jr. from weird science. on the way out to the island i didn´t have any sunscreen on so i burned the back of my neck and shoulders wearing a tanktop. then when we got back from the island i tried to do some shaping of the hair and i was a little to enthusiastic in the back so tony had to fix it again so i had a nice red neck with a 1" white line above that and then my hair. hee we have pictures of that too.

Adam left us for a couple of days on the 18th and will be back tuesday on the same flight that joe is coming in on. we'll get joe acclimated and then head out to the island again for the new moon. i now have some functionality of my computer and will be getting the pics ready to post so stay tuned.
